We have some exciting news! This month we will be transitioning EasyEarTraining.com to become part of Musical-U.com, and updating our apps and email courses to become part of the Musical U brand. Read on to find out how to make sure you don’t miss out on the latest and greatest ear training resources in future.

If you’ve been an EasyEarTraining.com visitor for a while then this change will come as no surprise. When we launched Musical U in 2015 it was intended to be the future of our company, providing the most comprehensive and advanced solution for musicality training – which includes ear training – available online.

Now, almost two years later, Musical U has matured as a product and a brand, and so the time has come to take Easy Ear Training into the fold. From here on out, it is all about “Musical U”.

What’s happening?

Musical UIn a lot of ways, things will stay the same. We will continue to regularly publish high-quality music education resources for free, and offer further training through email. Our range of iOS apps will continue to be available. And we will continue to recommend Musical U membership as the best way to get in-depth training and personal support from an expert team.

However by the end of this month, all that will happen under the “Musical U” name, rather than being split across “Musical U” and “Easy Ear Training”.

What does that mean for you?

Well, if you are a member of Musical U already: no big change! We’ll be continuing to develop and improve the membership site and offer you all the personal support you might need, as always.

If you’re not yet a member of Musical U then the major change is that the articles you’re used to reading here on EasyEarTraining.com will be moving across to Musical-U.com.

To make sure you don’t miss out, please do the following three things now:

  1. The best way to stay up to date is through our weekly email newsletter.
    You can sign up here:

    Spam-free, guaranteed.

  2. Follow Musical U on Twitter and Facebook.
  3. If you use our “Easy Ear Training” iOS app to get new articles, this will automatically be rebranded as “Musical U” soon. Just update the app when you’re notified that an update is available.

If you have any questions or concerns please let us know via Twitter or Facebook and we’ll be happy to help.

The Future

The team here is really excited about this transition because it will simplify a lot of things. We’ll be able to focus our efforts on a single website and brand, and be able to serve you all more effectively, instead of dividing our time and attention between the two.

That means you get better resources, more clearly organised.

It’s also exciting because it means Musical U has reached a real stage of maturity and is “ready for prime time”.

As the founder of Easy Ear Training I have been building this company for over 7 years now. So it’s a bit emotional to say goodbye to the “Easy Ear Training” brand! But that is definitely overpowered by my passion for the new Musical U brand and pride in the way we’re able to serve Musical U members so much more comprehensively than we were able to through Easy Ear Training products before.

Now-Musical-U

So whether you are a valued member of Musical U or one of the over 100,000 musicians who enjoy Easy Ear Training material through our website, apps and email each month, I hope you will join us in our enthusiasm for this transition. We are very much looking forward to continuing to serve you and help you reach your musicality goals in 2017 and beyond; now as Musical U.
