Almut Spaeth

Almut Spaeth is an educator, singer, and guitarist based in Hamburg, Germany.

She holds a MSc in Occupational Therapy and worked as a therapist and University lecturer for more than 20 years before becoming a full-time music educator and musician.

Her passion is exploring the connecting nature of music, especially in the form of collaborative vocal improvisation. Almut has been fortunate to learn from inspiring vocal teachers, such as Rhiannon, Davin Youngs, Guillermo Rozenthuler, Gaël Aubrit, and Jeanie LoVetri and has attended Level I of Somatic Voicework™ .

Prior to joining the Musical U team in 2024, she graduated from the Living Music program and a year of Next Level coaching.

With her experience in adult education, Almut has contributed to the Musicality Bootcamp and is working on the Accelerator Membership Workshops as a member of the Musical U Education Team. She is also a Next Level Coach.

Besides her work at Musical U, Almut offers workshops for singers of all levels to explore their voices and their creativity through singing and movement.

Almut also teaches private guitar lessons, conducts two vocal groups at a Community School in Hamburg, and offers monthly open singing circles in public spaces.
